01 Acceptance of Terms
By using our Services you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services or enrol in any course.
The rules that govern enrolment, course access and use of Canada Career College services.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Canada Career College website, online courses, enrolment process and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing our website, submitting an enrolment form, or purchasing a course, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By using our Services you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services or enrol in any course.
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of your province or territory of residence to enrol in our courses. Our programs are intended for adult learners. You are responsible for ensuring that you meet any prerequisites stated on the course page.
When you enrol, you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activity under your account.
Canada Career College reserves the right to refuse or cancel enrolment where information is incomplete, inaccurate, or where payment cannot be processed.
Course fees are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Payment is due at the time of enrolment unless a payment plan has been agreed in writing.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. You agree to their applicable terms when completing a transaction. Prices may change from time to time; the price confirmed at checkout applies to your enrolment.
Unless a specific refund policy is stated on a course page or in a written agreement with you:
If you have questions about refunds for a specific course, contact us before enrolling.
Courses are delivered online and are generally self-paced unless otherwise indicated. Access is granted after successful payment and enrolment confirmation.
We strive to keep course materials available and up to date. We may modify, suspend or discontinue content, features or technical access as needed for maintenance, updates or legal reasons. Reasonable notice will be provided where practicable.
You are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection and software to access the learning platform.
All course materials, logos, text, graphics, videos, assessments and other content provided by Canada Career College are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. They are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial educational use only during your enrolment period.
You may not copy, redistribute, resell, record, publicly display or create derivative works from our materials without prior written permission.
You agree to use the Services lawfully and respectfully. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:
We may suspend or terminate access without refund where these Terms are breached.
Certificates of completion are issued only when stated course requirements (including assessments, where applicable) have been met. Certificates do not constitute a professional licence, regulated designation, or guarantee of employment.
Some courses reference external standards (e.g. ICH-GCP). Recognition by employers or third parties depends on their own policies.
Courses are provided for educational purposes. Canada Career College does not guarantee specific career outcomes, job placement, or that completion of a course will meet every employer’s or regulator’s requirements.
The website and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free access.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Canada Career College and its officers, instructors and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or opportunity, arising from your use of the Services.
Our total liability for any claim related to a course shall not exceed the amount you paid for that course.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Canadian law.
Collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your province provide otherwise.
